About the role
Hays Recruitment is seeking experienced groundworkers with a strong finishing background to join a busy site team in Waterlooville. The role involves a variety of groundworks tasks on a temporary basis, with an immediate start and a minimum one‑month assignment. The position offers a rate of £20 per hour, no CIS deductions, and provides all necessary personal protective equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Finishing groundworks
- Kerbing, edging and slabbing
- Installing drainage and foundations
- Concreting and finishing works
- Working as part of an experienced site team
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Required profile
- Proven groundworks experience with a strong finishing background
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Own PPE and tools preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
