About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Groundworker to join our construction team in Lancaster on a full‑time basis. The role offers a competitive rate of £20 per hour and involves hands‑on work on various site projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and level ground surfaces for foundations and structures.
- Excavate, backfill, and compact soil as required.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the installation of drainage, utilities, and other ground‑level services.
- Follow health and safety regulations on site.
Required profile
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Reliability and willingness to work full‑time hours.
- Basic understanding of construction site procedures.
