Group Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Group Accountant to join a well‑established global company in London. This role offers exposure to a variety of projects and will support your development as you transition from a top‑10 accountancy practice into industry. You will work closely with divisional finance teams and external auditors to ensure accurate group reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of the Group's annual and half‑year statutory reports.
• Collaborate with external auditors throughout the reporting process.
• Assist with monthly management reporting, analysing head‑office costs and providing financial insights.
• Partner with divisional finance teams and shared service centres to enforce Group accounting policies.
• Prepare technical accounting papers and advise on complex accounting matters.
• Produce financial analysis to aid senior finance stakeholders in decision‑making.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• Training in a top‑10 accountancy firm.
• Experience with multi‑currency, multi‑jurisdiction IFRS reporting.
