Group Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join our multinational finance team in Uxbridge. Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting, you will lead the consolidation and reporting processes across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring compliance with IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes for accurate Group reporting.
• Prepare and review Group consolidation across multiple entities and currencies in line with IFRS.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and foreign‑currency translations.
• Produce Group financial statements, management reports and insightful analysis for senior leadership.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS and ensure consistent application of Group policies.
• Support statutory accounts preparation and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and standardisation of finance processes and systems.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow reporting and strategic finance projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in group accounting and financial consolidation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 16.
• Experience working with multi‑entity, multi‑currency environments.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to senior leadership.
• Hands‑on experience with consolidation tools such as Tagetik (or similar).
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and control.
