Group Finance Manager – Hospitality Sector

About the role

The Group Finance Manager will lead the finance function for a growing hospitality organisation, reporting directly to the Finance Director. This full‑time, office‑based role offers commercial exposure and the chance to influence key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis.
• Oversee month‑end processes, balance‑sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting and supplier payments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Consolidate financial information across multiple entities.
• Oversee payroll processes and ensure statutory compliance.
• Prepare information for year‑end audit and statutory reporting.
• Monitor and improve financial processes and internal controls.
• Manage, mentor and develop a small finance team.
• Provide financial analysis and support business improvement projects.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar role.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
• Experience in hospitality, leisure or another fast‑paced multi‑site environment is advantageous.
