Group Finance Systems Manager

About the role

The Group Finance Systems Manager reports directly to the Group Head of Financial Control and is based in our central office in Wimbledon, London. This hybrid role works up to three days a week from home and supports the Group Finance function, collaborating with the wider Finance Systems team to maintain, develop and operate the Group’s financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Align the finance system with finance functions to support current and future operational needs and translate strategic objectives into actionable system initiatives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders—including Finance, IT, Operations and other business units—to gather requirements, set system priorities and ensure system goals support the broader business strategy.
• Develop and maintain a detailed system roadmap, prioritize initiatives based on impact and resources, and communicate updates through the steering committee.
• Lead finance system governance, ensuring decisions align with risk management, regulatory compliance and business objectives, and track related KPIs.
• Manage system‑related contracts, licences, renewals and vendor relationships while collaborating on forecasting, cost control and ROI for system investments.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the finance system, including user access, support requests, monitoring, maintenance and continuous improvement of operational performance.

Required profile

• Educated to degree level with solid accounting knowledge.
• Significant experience in a business‑partnering finance function.
• Strong demonstrable experience and understanding of NetSuite in a multi‑currency, multi‑country organisation.
• Proven experience leading teams, developing and motivating staff.
• Project and change‑management experience in an agile environment.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, organised, decisive and independent.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
