Group Finance Systems Manager (Maternity Cover)

About the role

The Group Finance Systems Manager reports directly to the Group Head of Financial Control. The role supports the Group Finance function, works collaboratively with the wider Finance Systems team, and ensures the maintenance, development and effective operation of the Group’s chosen financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Align the finance system with current and future operational needs and ensure key financial processes and controls are supported.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Operations and other business units to gather requirements, set priorities and communicate system goals.
• Develop and maintain a detailed system roadmap, prioritising initiatives based on impact, value and resources.
• Lead finance system governance through a cross‑functional steering committee, tracking decisions, outcomes and KPIs.
• Manage system contracts, licences, renewals and vendor relationships while forecasting costs and ROI.
• Oversee day‑to‑day system operations, user access, support requests, monitoring and maintenance, and provide training materials.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education with solid accounting knowledge.
• Experience partnering with finance functions and leading teams in a multi‑currency, multi‑country environment.
• Strong demonstrable experience with NetSuite.
• Project and change management experience in an agile setting, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
