Group Financial Accountant

About the role

Join a growing finance team and take ownership of the year‑end financial statement process for Everywhen. This home‑based position offers exposure to technical accounting, acquisition accounting, regulatory reporting and legal entity lifecycle management while working with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support and coordinate the year‑end process for group financial statements.
• Review statutory accounts to ensure compliance with FRS 101 and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and internal finance teams to meet reporting deadlines.
• Prepare regulatory, tax and other external submissions.
• Produce quarterly reporting packs for the group finance team.
• Create accounting entries for acquisitions and intra‑group transfers.
• Oversee legal entity lifecycle activities, including strike‑offs.
• Provide technical accounting, regulatory and tax insight.

Required profile

• Degree in a business or accountancy discipline.
• ACA/ACCA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 101 and IFRS.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in external reporting and regulatory requirements, ideally within insurance intermediaries.
• Proactive, detail‑driven with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
