Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Director of Financial Accounting, you will lead financial accounting, control and compliance across our international hospitality portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the year‑end audit and statutory accounts process, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Ensure accurate, timely month‑end closing across the group, maintaining balance‑sheet integrity.
• Implement effective financial controls and systems.
• Oversee cash‑flow management across multiple sites and international operations.
• Administer the company insurance portfolio, including policy renewals, adjustments and claims handling.
• Lead and mentor a team of financial accountants and coordinate external accountants in Europe.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial accounting and control within a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of audit processes, statutory reporting and month‑end close procedures.
• Ability to design and maintain robust financial controls and reporting systems.
• Experience managing cash‑flow and insurance functions across borders.
• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management skills, including coaching and development of finance teams.
