Group Financial Controller – Manufacturing Group

About the role

This is a high‑profile, full‑time position reporting directly to the CFO of a fast‑growing manufacturing group. The Group Financial Controller will act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, shaping strategy and ensuring robust financial reporting across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver Group interim and annual financial reports.
• Lead the consolidation process for management and statutory accounts.
• Support operating companies during year‑end close and audit readiness.
• Manage relationships with external auditors to ensure efficient audits.
• Prepare subsidiary statutory accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Drive implementation and optimisation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Assist with acquisition integration, tax planning, R&D tax credits, cash management and company secretarial matters.
• Develop scalable financial controls, systems and processes across the Group.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Significant experience in group financial reporting and consolidation.
• Proven ability to work with senior commercial leaders and influence strategy.
• Experience in a manufacturing or multi‑entity environment is preferred.
