Group HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Group HR Manager to lead a comprehensive HR service across our five regional offices. You will act as the first point of contact for HR matters, supporting directors and managers while ensuring compliance with employment law.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a full‑cycle HR service to five regional sites, acting as the primary HR contact.
• Ensure adherence to employment legislation and advise line managers on policies and procedures.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
• Handle employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance investigations, absence, and performance management.
• Offer guidance on GDPR compliance and maintain related documentation.
• Research, organise and deliver training programmes as required.
• Travel between regional offices using a company pool car.

Required profile

• Proven generalist HR experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Confidential, professional approach with high integrity and respect.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and sensible problem‑solving abilities.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
• Ability to engage with staff at all levels, from warehouse personnel to directors.
