Group Injection Moulding Specialist

About the role

Intersurgical is seeking an experienced Group Injection Moulding Specialist to lead continuous improvement across our global medical device manufacturing network. Based in Wokingham, you will work within the Group Engineering Department, supporting sites in the UK, China, USA and Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in injection moulding processes.
• Support transfer, validation and implementation of new moulds, machines and processes across global sites.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and hands‑on training to engineering and production teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to optimise manufacturing performance and ensure compliance with medical‑device quality and regulatory standards.
• Lead DFM, FMEA and validation activities for mould tooling projects.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in injection moulding process optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding machine specifications and thermoplastic materials.
• Understanding of DFM, FMEA, validation and mould tool manufacturing.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing is desirable.
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification is preferred.
