Group Reporting Advisor – Finance Contractor (6-month to perm)

About the role

We are seeking a Group Reporting Advisor to join a fast‑paced finance team in London. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, investor reporting and technical accounting within a dynamic, multi‑entity environment. It is a hybrid position with a six‑month contract that may lead to permanent employment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver the shareholder financial reporting pack for quarterly interims and investor queries.
• Own the end‑to‑end production of group and subsidiary statutory financial statements, from preparation through to filing.
• Calculate and assure deferred tax balances in line with IAS 12.
• Act as the IFRS 16 specialist, guiding lease accounting treatment across the business.
• Monitor bond covenant compliance and provide related reporting.
• Identify and implement automation and efficiency improvements within the reporting cycle.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years experience in financial reporting, preferably with group consolidation and multi‑jurisdictional statutory reporting.
• Practical knowledge of IFRS 16; experience with IAS 12 and bond covenant reporting is a plus.
• Experience in oil & gas or other complex multi‑entity groups is advantageous.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
