Group Sales Director (Construction & Property)

About the role

The Group Sales Director will lead new‑business generation for a privately owned recruitment group operating across construction, property, finance, education and care. Based in the Midlands, you will work closely with business leaders to identify and secure high‑value client partnerships, primarily within the construction and property sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target new market opportunities across multiple sectors.
• Design and execute sales and lead‑generation campaigns.
• Prospect, engage and influence senior decision‑makers.
• Lead client meetings, presentations and high‑stakes pitches.
• Develop proposals, bids and tender submissions.
• Manage Preferred Supplier List (PSL) and framework applications.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and close deals.
• Collaborate with business leaders to convert opportunities into revenue.

Required profile

• Proven track record of winning new B2B clients and generating revenue.
• Experience in recruitment, professional services, outsourcing, consultancy or technology sales.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience managing long sales cycles and pipelines.
• Confidence producing proposals, bids or tender documents.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders with credibility.
• Proactive, self‑driven and accountable approach.

Required skills

• Salary £60,000‑£80,000 per annum plus up to £20,000 commission.
