Guest Services Assistant – 2-Day Event

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Guest Services Assistants to support a high‑profile two‑day event in Ashford. You will be the first point of contact for attendees, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from registration through to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a professional first impression.
• Assist with registration and check‑in procedures.
• Provide information, guidance and directions to attendees.
• Answer guest enquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Manage queues and maintain smooth guest flow throughout the event.
• Resolve queries and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support the wider event team to ensure efficient operation.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with a wide range of people.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Calm and professional in a busy environment.
• Reliable, punctual and well‑presented.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Customer‑service experience (hospitality, retail, events or similar) – desirable but not essential.
