About the role
Saïd Business School is hiring two part‑time Guest Services Officers to work at the Global Leadership Centre in Oxford. The role is permanent, onsite and involves welcoming senior executives, academics and international programme participants, ensuring a smooth and professional guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries by email, phone and in person.
- Provide information about facilities, programmes and the local Oxford area.
- Coordinate bookings, guest requests and room allocations.
- Process payments and keep accurate records.
- Follow all safety, security and incident‑reporting procedures.
Required profile
- Professional, reliable and customer‑focused with experience in high‑end, front‑facing roles serving executive or VIP clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close‑knit team within a 24/7 operation.
- Flexibility to work fixed days Thursday to Sunday, covering early, late and occasional mid‑shifts.
- Right to work in the UK.
Required skills
What we offer
- Grade 4 salary £28,437‑£32,108 per annum pro rata, plus Oxford University weighting and shift allowance.
- Permanent part‑time contract (29 hours per week, 0.79 FTE).
- Opportunity to work in a newly established, internationally recognised team.
