Hair & Beauty Lecturer – Full‑Time (Bromley)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a well‑resourced school in Bromley to recruit a passionate Hair & Beauty Lecturer on a full‑time basis starting September 2026. This role offers the chance to inspire learners, deliver engaging vocational education and help students acquire the practical skills needed for a career in the hair and beauty industry.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory‑based Hair & Beauty lessons.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support learners in developing professional and employability skills.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety in practical settings.

Required profile

• Experience teaching or lecturing Hair & Beauty in a school, college or training setting.
• A recognised Hair & Beauty qualification (Level 3 or above).
• A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or relevant teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Required skills

• Hair & Beauty qualification (Level 3 or higher).
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS) or equivalent experience.
