Hair & Beauty Tutor for SEN Students (Level 1 & 2) – Part‑time

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Hair & Beauty Tutor to deliver Level 1 and Level 2 vocational qualifications to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 learners in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a fixed‑term contract of one year, working 2‑4 days per week on site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Hair & Beauty lessons for KS4 and KS5 students.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet a wide range of SEN requirements.
• Maintain industry‑standard health and safety practices in practical sessions.
• Track student progress, contribute to assessment and reporting.
• Support learners’ personal development, employability and independence.

Required profile

• Recognised Hair & Beauty qualification (Level 3 or above).
• Experience delivering Level 1/2 vocational qualifications.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience working with young people, preferably in SEN settings.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
