Hairdressing Lecturer (Level 2 & 3)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Hairdressing Lecturer to teach Level 2 and Level 3 courses. The role is based in Hayes, South East England and involves delivering high‑quality instruction to aspiring hair professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching sessions for Level 2 and Level 3 hairdressing programmes.
• Prepare lesson plans, practical demonstrations and resources that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and support learning outcomes.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Manage practical resources and set‑up for hands‑on sessions.
• Potentially run late‑night practical classes to meet student needs.

Required profile

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in hairdressing.
• Teaching qualification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Proven experience in teaching or training within the hairdressing sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in both education and hairdressing.
