Handyperson – Multi‑Trade Maintenance Role

About the role

Randstad is looking for an experienced, versatile Handyperson to support commercial and residential projects across Kent. The role offers a varied workload, allowing you to apply a range of trade skills while working independently to deliver high‑quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Painting & decorating – touch‑up work, crack filling, plaster patching and surface preparation.
• Basic plumbing – fixing minor leaks, unblocking sinks and replacing simple fixtures.
• Snagging & finishing – identifying and rectifying minor defects to meet handover standards.
• General maintenance – installing blinds, shelves, signage, replacing ceiling tiles and overall site upkeep.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS card (essential).
• Own full set of hand and power tools suitable for multi‑trade tasks.
• Full personal protective equipment – hard hat, high‑visibility vest/jacket and steel‑toe boots.
• Two verifiable recent work references.
• Driving licence and own transport (highly advantageous).
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

• Proficient use of hand and power tools.
