Head and Neck Sonographer

About the role

Day Webster is recruiting a qualified Sonographer to work in a hospital setting in Surrey. The role focuses on head and neck imaging and offers a competitive hourly rate of £50.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality ultrasound examinations of the head, neck, musculoskeletal (MSK) regions, lumps, bumps, hernias and abdomen.
• Assist with MSK‑guided injections where required.
• Document findings accurately and communicate results to the clinical team.
• Maintain equipment hygiene and adhere to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• CASE‑accredited sonography qualification.
• Current registration with HCPC.
• Experience in at least one of the following: MSK, head and neck, lumps and bumps, hernias, or abdominal imaging.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ultrasound imaging techniques.
• Knowledge of MSK‑guided injection procedures.
• Ability to interpret and report sonographic findings.
