Head Chef – All-Day Dining Café Opening in Mayfair

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a brand‑new all‑day dining café in Mayfair, London. The concept blends elegant European café style with the refined service of a private members’ club, offering breakfast, brunch, light lunches and evening small‑plates.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent, high‑quality output across all service periods.
• Develop and execute an elevated menu focused on breakfast, brunch, sandwiches, salads and pastry items.
• Lead, train and motivate a small, high‑performing kitchen team.
• Maintain rigorous hygiene, food safety and organisational standards.
• Control ordering, stock levels and kitchen costs.
• Collaborate with senior management during the opening and launch phase.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in a senior kitchen role such as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
• Strong savoury cooking background with experience in premium cafés, restaurants or members‑club environments.
• Calm, organised and detail‑driven leadership style.
• Passion for seasonal produce, clean flavours and refined presentation.
