Head Chef – Authentic Italian Restaurant

About the role

We are an authentic Italian deli and restaurant in the heart of West London, seeking a skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The role is full‑time, based at our West London venue, and ideal for an experienced chef with deep knowledge of Italian cuisine and regional traditions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation.
• Create and maintain authentic Italian dishes using traditional techniques.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage food stock levels, inventory and cost control.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to uphold high culinary standards.
• Design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and regional Italian flavours.
• Collaborate with management to enhance the overall dining experience.

Required profile

• Native or fluent knowledge of Italian cuisine and culture.
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in an Italian restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Thorough understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
