About the role

This is a full‑time Head Chef role at a luxury holiday park near Salisbury, offering an annualised 35‑hour contract with most shifts starting in the early afternoon. The position provides a relaxed environment, extended winter holidays and the chance to lead a supportive kitchen team while enjoying the scenic countryside.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day kitchen operations and maintain high food quality standards.
• Lead, motivate and train the kitchen team to deliver consistent dishes.
• Develop creative menus that balance customer appeal and cost control.
• Manage stock ordering, minimise wastage and control food costs.
• Ensure strict compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to enhance guest experiences.
• Support wider park operations during peak periods.

Required profile

• Experienced in leading a kitchen team and seeking a more balanced lifestyle.
• Strong organisational and stock‑management abilities.
• Passion for fresh, high‑quality food and consistent standards.
• Calm, positive leadership style and ability to work seasonal peaks with quieter off‑peak periods.
• Valid driving licence and access to transport due to rural location.
