Head Chef – Restaurant & Pub Group

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in South Benfleet. This role offers the chance to shape a branded menu, drive sales, and deliver exceptional guest experiences within a leading restaurant and pub group.

Key responsibilities

• Train, motivate and inspire the kitchen team to consistently produce high‑quality dishes.
• Manage food ordering, preparation, and stock control to optimise cost and waste.
• Oversee compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Drive sales targets and guest satisfaction through menu execution and service standards.
• Work with a branded menu, ensuring consistency across all outlets.

Required profile

• Experienced Sous Chef ready for a first Head Chef role or an existing Head Chef seeking a new challenge.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and meet performance targets.
• Strong organisational skills and a focus on quality and safety.
