Head of Accounting – Report & Consolidation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Accounting (Report & Consolidation) to lead our financial reporting function and co‑lead global consolidation activities across an international portfolio of entities. This senior position will shape financial governance, drive transformation initiatives and partner with senior stakeholders worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, half‑year and year‑end close activities and co‑lead global group consolidation across multiple legal entities.
• Ensure accurate IFRS and Group reporting, review balance‑sheet and cash‑flow consolidation results, and support finance transformation projects such as ERP migrations.
• Oversee statutory financial statement preparation, manage external audit relationships and provide expertise on complex accounting treatments.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing finance team, foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive capability building in automation and digital finance.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Shared Services and senior leadership, providing clear guidance on consolidation and reporting matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline and a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Significant experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting, consolidation and audit within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, financial control frameworks and excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and manage large‑scale transformation programmes.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in consolidation platforms such as HFM/Hyperion or Finance Core.
• Knowledge of automation and digital finance tools.
