Head of Business Partnering and Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

This interim position leads the Business Partnering and Financial Planning & Analysis function for a prestigious, internationally recognised organisation undergoing a major finance transformation. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will shape a modern FP&A capability, strengthen business partnering across a devolved structure and provide high‑quality financial insight to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the organisation’s FP&A and finance business partnering functions.
• Act as a trusted adviser to executive and operational leaders on financial performance and strategy.
• Support a multi‑year finance transformation programme, including an ERP implementation.
• Oversee long‑range financial planning, forecasting, modelling and management reporting.
• Drive development of business cases, investment appraisal and financial governance frameworks.
• Lead and develop a sizeable, multi‑layered finance community through change and transformation.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level FP&A and management reporting experience within a large, complex organisation.
• Proven track record of leading transformation programmes and driving organisational change.
• Experience operating in highly matrixed stakeholder environments.
• Strong leadership, influencing and relationship‑building capabilities.

Required skills

• ERP implementation experience.
