Head of Business – Secondary School

About the role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic Head of Business to lead its Business department from September 2026. This senior position will shape the academic direction, inspire staff and students, and contribute to the overall success of a ‘Good’ rated secondary school.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a friendly, stimulating and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Drive academic progress and improve teaching and learning within the Business curriculum.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Business faculty.
• Implement innovative teaching methods and respond to curriculum changes.
• Manage departmental planning, preparation and marking time effectively.
