Head of Channel – Merchant & Distributor Sales

About the role

ADEY, the UK market leader in residential water treatment for heating and cooling systems, is seeking a Head of Channel (Merchants) to drive growth across its merchant and distributor network in the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the Sales leadership team, you will lead a group of Account Managers and own the commercial performance of the Residential and Commercial channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Account Managers to manage national merchant and distributor accounts.
• Oversee internal sales activities with local independent merchants.
• Coordinate with Residential and Commercial teams to activate larger merchant branches.
• Maintain and expand the customer base, identifying new market and product opportunities.
• Deliver channel sales and financial targets, prepare budgets, forecast demand and analyse variances.
• Develop and execute channel strategy, pricing structures and tactical sales plans.
• Represent the ADEY brand, align with Marketing, and champion the voice of the customer.

Required profile

• Proven senior experience in channel, merchant or distributor sales leadership.
• Strong track record of achieving revenue growth and market‑share objectives.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with senior customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to coach teams, drive performance and manage budgets.
