Head of Commercial Property

About the role

The firm is seeking a commercially‑focused Head of Commercial Property to lead its established property department. This senior solicitor will have full autonomy to shape the team, manage a diverse caseload and drive strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a commercial property team.
• Manage high‑quality matters including acquisitions, disposals, landlord‑tenant issues and development work.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Drive business development and support firm‑wide growth initiatives.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and future vision of the department.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with significant commercial property experience (10+ PQE).
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to step into a senior leadership role.
• Strong commercial awareness and a track record (or clear potential) in business development.
• Ambitious, motivated and committed to progressing to partnership.
