About the role
Signal AI is looking for a Head of Content Licensing to lead the strategy and execution of acquiring, managing and distributing premium content for its AI‑powered platform. The role sits at the intersection of commercial, product, legal and technology teams, ensuring seamless onboarding of new sources and compliance at scale.
Key responsibilities
- Define and own the content licensing strategy, negotiate agreements with new and existing publishers, and evaluate sources against product roadmap and revenue impact.
- Design and scale licensing workflows, from source evaluation through legal review, contract management and ingestion, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Partner with product and data ingestion teams to translate licensing constraints into technical requirements and support new product features.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success and product teams on go‑to‑market packaging, pricing and customer enablement for new content offerings.
Required profile
- Proven experience in content licensing, publisher relations or media partnerships at scale.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to negotiate win‑win deals and understand unit economics.
- Excellent project management and cross‑functional leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of copyright, licensing agreements and media regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously.
