Head of Corporate Shared Services Technology (MD C16)

About the role

The Head of Corporate Shared Services Technology will lead the technology strategy for Citi's non‑client‑facing operations in London. Reporting to the COO and CIO, this senior leader will shape the architecture and modernization roadmap for cash management, payments control, global reconciliations, regulatory reporting and payroll across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the overall architecture vision for corporate shared services functions.
• Standardise and simplify a fragmented application landscape to drive efficiency and business value.
• Lead the adoption of Generative AI, automation and data‑centric solutions across the portfolio.
• Ensure strategic alignment with cross‑business capabilities such as KYC, fraud, cash management and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with the CIO, COO and senior business stakeholders to deliver enterprise‑wide technology initiatives.
• Manage and develop a high‑performing technology team within the COO organization.

Required profile

• Proven senior technology leadership experience in a large financial institution.
• Track record of delivering enterprise‑wide technology strategy, modernization and large‑scale implementation.
• Deep understanding of corporate shared services operations (cash, payments, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, payroll).
• Strong ability to influence senior executives and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience with generative AI, automation and data architecture initiatives is highly desirable.
