Head of Cyber Security

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Cyber Security to provide senior technical leadership, protect critical systems and information assets, and drive secure digital transformation across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead the cyber security strategy in alignment with executive goals.
- Manage risk, compliance and cyber incident response programmes.
- Oversee Security Operations Centre (SOC) operations and incident handling.
- Lead, mentor and develop a specialist cyber security team.
- Ensure protection of critical systems and information assets.
Required profile
- Proven senior cyber security leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of NHS or other regulated environments.
- Expertise in ISO27001, GDPR and cyber incident management.
- Confident communicator with inclusive, values‑based leadership.
