Head of Demand Planning

About the role

This is a greenfield opportunity to lead the demand planning function for a fast‑growing global manufacturing organisation. You will design processes, build capability and shape strategy to support international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement an end‑to‑end demand planning strategy.
• Establish forecasting processes, governance and KPI frameworks from scratch.
• Lead the S&OP / IBP demand review process.
• Partner with commercial and regional teams to improve forecast accuracy and visibility.
• Build and develop a high‑performing demand planning team.
• Drive data‑led decision making through market and demand analysis.
• Influence inventory, production and capacity planning decisions.
• Support implementation and optimisation of planning systems and tools.

Required profile

• Significant experience in demand planning, forecasting or integrated business planning within manufacturing.
• Proven track record leading S&OP or IBP processes across complex supply chains.
• Experience building or transforming planning functions and processes.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to develop high‑performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadership.
• Data‑driven analytical approach to decision making.
