Head of Demand Planning

About the role

Zero Surplus, a leading premium interior design brand, is seeking a Head of Demand Planning to own its global demand planning function. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will drive the end‑to‑end S&OP process, ensuring the right products are available in the right markets at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly S&OP cycle across multiple international regions and sales channels.
• Develop accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans that balance service levels with working‑capital efficiency.
• Produce performance reports for senior leadership, highlighting forecast accuracy and inventory risk.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Finance and New Product Development to support commercial decisions and business growth.
• Provide strategic direction to a small, autonomous planning team and champion continuous improvement of processes, systems and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning, supply‑chain planning or S&OP, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of guiding a team and driving strategic initiatives.
