Head of E-Commerce Performance (Director)

About the role

This senior leadership position sits above the Senior Paid Media team at a fast‑growing independent digital agency. You will oversee key e‑commerce client relationships, drive strategic growth and act as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own paid‑media strategy across a portfolio of premium e‑commerce brands, aligning campaigns with CAC, LTV, profitability and broader business goals.
• Mentor and develop a talented paid‑media team while shaping the agency’s future direction.
• Lead client strategy, stakeholder management and commercial negotiations.
• Ensure performance measurement goes beyond last‑click attribution to capture true e‑commerce impact.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in paid‑media or performance marketing, preferably within an agency or fast‑paced in‑house environment.
• Strong background in e‑commerce commercial metrics and attribution.
• Proven ability to lead strategy and people development.
• Comfortable managing senior client relationships and driving business growth.

Required skills

• Meta (Facebook Ads) platform expertise.
• Paid Search (Google Ads) expertise.
• Broad experience with digital advertising channels.
• Knowledge of e‑commerce attribution and performance analytics.
