Head of Education & Training

About the role

We are seeking a senior Head of Education & Training to lead the global education function of a well‑established professional organisation. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will shape educational strategy, oversee the delivery of qualifications, courses and examinations, and drive innovation across traditional and digital learning platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the education team and the wider network of tutors, assessors and examiners.
• Contribute to organisational strategy, business planning and budgeting as a senior manager.
• Oversee global delivery of courses, examinations and professional qualifications, ensuring quality, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement of curricula, syllabuses and assessment processes.
• Develop and expand digital learning initiatives and online educational resources.
• Manage relationships with external teaching centres, education partners and other stakeholders.
• Review and enhance study materials, course content and learning resources.
• Support design and delivery of bespoke corporate training programmes.
• Monitor student performance data to inform future educational strategy.
• Promote educational offerings to increase engagement and programme growth.
• Represent the organisation at industry events and support marketing and partnership initiatives.
• Deputise for senior leadership when required.

Required profile

• Significant leadership experience within education, training, professional qualifications or learning & development.
• Proven track record of managing high‑performing teams and driving organisational improvement.
• Experience overseeing examinations, assessments, accreditation or qualification programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience developing digital learning platforms or online education initiatives.
