Head of Enforcement

About the role

The firm is a leading UK law practice seeking a Head of Enforcement to lead its Enforcement and Recovery team. You will own the strategy, operations and client delivery for all enforcement matters, driving growth and efficiency across a high‑performing function.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the firm’s enforcement strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of solicitors, paralegals and support staff.
• Oversee all enforcement actions, including Part 8 procedures, writs, charging orders, attachment of earnings, third‑party debt orders, bankruptcy and winding‑up proceedings.
• Supervise asset tracing, data‑driven recovery initiatives and complex high‑value cases.
• Monitor performance against recovery, efficiency and service targets, and drive process improvement and technology adoption.
• Ensure compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules, SRA regulations and other relevant standards.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or equivalent legal qualification.
• Significant litigation and enforcement experience, preferably with high‑volume, high‑value portfolios.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and client‑focused mindset.
