Head of FI Sales – UK Services

About the role

The Head of FI Sales – UK Services will lead Citi’s Financial Institutions sales and client success teams across the UK cluster. Reporting to the Head of Financial Institutions Sales, the role is responsible for growing market share, revenue and client experience for a portfolio that includes pensions, insurance firms, asset managers, banks, sovereign wealth funds, central banks and fintech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the UK sales team to meet cluster revenue and return targets, driving origination, realization and client retention.
• Coordinate client priorities with Corporate Bank FIG and product partners, and nurture C‑suite relationships.
• Execute the global FI‑Services strategy in the UK, prioritising high‑impact objectives across liquidity, investor services, payments and trade.
• Develop and implement account plans to grow wallet share for strategic client segments.
• Collaborate with global segment leads on marketing and product strategies to increase market share.
• Implement robust sales management processes using CRM, sales dashboards and CSIP/C@R tools.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in financial institutions sales or related services.
• Strong track record of revenue growth, client acquisition and retention in the UK market.
• Ability to build and maintain C‑suite relationships across a diverse client base.
• Excellent strategic thinking and execution skills, with a collaborative mindset.
