Head of Finance – Creative Multi‑Site Scaleup (London)

About the role

The Head of Finance will report directly to the CEO and Co‑Founder of a fast‑growing, founder‑led membership and workspace business serving the creative industries. This newly created senior position will own day‑to‑day financial control while shaping the strategic finance agenda as the company expands across multiple London sites.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end close and management accounts for all trading sites, delivering consolidated reports to the CEO and board.
• Build site‑level P&L and unit‑economics reporting to provide clear performance visibility across the estate.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, scenario planning and modelling for new long‑term site commitments.
• Act as primary contact for reporting to the institutional shareholder, preparing board‑meeting materials.
• Partner with the CEO on budgeting, capital allocation and financial planning for high‑profile expansion.
• Implement scalable finance processes and systems to match rapid growth.
• Manage relationships with external accountants/auditors and ensure statutory compliance.
• Develop the finance function over time, identifying future hiring needs.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven experience in financial control and management reporting for a multi‑site consumer or membership business (e.g., retail, hospitality, flexible workspace).
• Comfort operating both hands‑on (month‑end, cash flow) and strategically (board reporting, investor relations).
• Experience working with or reporting to an external investor or shareholder.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling.
• Cash‑flow forecasting and scenario planning.
• Familiarity with Xero or similar cloud accounting platforms.
