Head of Finance

About the role

Our client, a healthcare services provider based in Kent, is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead their finance function. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of Finance will shape the strategic and operational financial direction of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations and ensure accurate reporting.
• Lead and develop a finance team, managing four direct reports.
• Drive financial performance, forecasting, budgeting and commercial growth.
• Maintain financial integrity, compliance and best practice across the business.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and external healthcare stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a proven finance leadership track record.
• Hands‑on commercial mindset combined with strategic insight.
• Strong experience in managing teams and delivering financial analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder relationship and communication abilities.
• Highly organised with the capacity to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
