Head of Finance Operations (FinOps)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance Operations (FinOps) to lead and modernise our end‑to‑end finance operations function. This senior leadership position will oversee high‑volume transactional finance activities while driving operational excellence, automation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll and transaction processing.
• Develop and maintain a high‑performing, customer‑focused Finance Operations function with clear KPIs, SLAs and accountability.
• Design and implement a scalable operating model to support business growth.
• Partner with FP&A, Commercial Finance, HR, Procurement and operational teams.
• Review, redesign and enhance finance processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and control.
• Identify and implement AI‑enabled solutions and automation across invoicing, reconciliations, cash allocation and reporting.
• Act as the Finance Operations lead for NetSuite optimisation, process improvements and user adoption.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in finance operations within a high‑volume environment.
• Track record of delivering process optimisation, automation and AI‑enabled improvements.
• Strong understanding of finance controls, compliance and service delivery standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional partners and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Required skills

• NetSuite optimisation and user adoption.
• AI‑enabled automation for finance workflows.
• Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Automation and workflow redesign expertise.
