Head of Finance Operations (FinOps) – Office Based

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance Operations (FinOps) to lead and modernise our end‑to‑end finance operations. This senior leadership position will oversee high‑volume transactional finance activities, drive operational excellence, and embed automation and AI‑enabled solutions across the function.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Transaction Processing.
- Develop and maintain a high‑performing, customer‑focused Finance Operations function with clear KPIs, SLAs and accountability.
- Design and implement a scalable operating model and partner with FP&A, Commercial Finance, HR, Procurement and operational teams.
- Review, redesign and optimise finance processes, reducing manual effort through Lean, Six Sigma and automation.
- Identify and deploy AI‑enabled solutions for invoice processing, reconciliations, exception management, cash allocation and reporting.
- Lead NetSuite optimisation, process improvements and user adoption.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading finance operations in a high‑volume environment.
- Strong track record of process transformation, automation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams such as FP&A, HR and Procurement.
- Excellent understanding of financial controls, compliance and service delivery standards.
