Head of Financial Reporting

About the role
This newly created Head of Financial Reporting position sits within a fast‑growing bank near Monument Station. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will help shape internal finance strategy while enjoying a hybrid working model with two days a week in the office.
Key responsibilities
- Produce financial management information for Board meetings
- Lead external audits and ensure audit readiness
- Drive process improvement initiatives across the finance function
- Manage risk, VAT and corporate tax return processes
- Perform a range of accounting reconciliations
Required profile
- Qualified ACA or ACCA
- Minimum 5 years in a technical finance role
- Experience with IFRS 9 reporting and hedging accounting
- Strong Excel proficiency

- Salary £100,000‑£130,000 per year (dependent on experience)
