Head of FP&A

About the role

This senior finance position offers an experienced finance professional the chance to own financial planning, performance analysis and strategic business partnering within a complex, evolving organisation. Reporting to the Executive Finance Lead, you will shape forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting while influencing long‑term commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the FP&A team, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing culture.
• Drive the annual budgeting process and manage regular forecasting cycles.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and performance insights to senior leadership.
• Review investment proposals, financial evaluations and business initiatives for commercial viability.
• Support strategic decision‑making through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Deliver accurate management reporting and meaningful performance commentary.
• Monitor results against budget and forecast, highlighting risks, opportunities and trends.
• Build strong relationships with operational leaders to challenge assumptions and improve financial understanding.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with a commercial mindset.
• Proven experience leading finance teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement within finance functions.
