Head of Housing – Supported Housing & Growth

About the role

New Foundations, a Community Benefit Society delivering high‑quality supported housing for adults with learning disabilities and autism, is seeking a Head of Housing to join its Senior Leadership Team. Based in Rawtenstall with travel across the portfolio, you will shape strategy and drive operational excellence across a growing portfolio of 120 properties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day‑to‑day leadership for all housing services.
• Ensure statutory property compliance, health & safety and contractor performance.
• Maintain housing quality standards and monitor KPIs.
• Oversee governance, regulatory compliance and continuous service improvement.
• Support the mobilisation and development of new supported‑housing services.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior housing management role.
• Experience in supported, exempt or social housing.
• CIH Level 4 qualification (or near completion) with a commitment to achieve CIH Level 5 (fully funded).
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance and deliver measurable improvements.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of housing management, property compliance and regulatory requirements.

What we offer

• Starting salary £48,000 per annum, progressing to £60,000 based on qualifications and performance.
• Fully funded CIH Level 5 Diploma.
