Head of HR

About the role

Claremont Group Interiors Ltd, a leading commercial interior design and fit‑out company, is seeking a Head of HR to lead its people function from its Birchwood (Warrington) headquarters. The role is hybrid and reports directly to senior management, driving HR strategy and day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll processing and pension scheme administration through an external provider.
• Oversee full recruitment lifecycle, including advertising, screening, interview support, psychometric assessments, and onboarding.
• Administer benefits programmes, private healthcare, and life assurance relationships.
• Handle all routine HR administration and maintain accurate employee records.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop HR initiatives that boost engagement, productivity and align with business goals.
• Lead annual engagement surveys, workshops and follow‑up actions.
• Coordinate learning and development programmes, LMS compliance and management training.
• Maintain the HR information system, train managers and ensure data integrity.
• Oversee ISO management system compliance and coordinate internal audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR generalist with responsibility for payroll, recruitment and employee relations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple HR functions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience working in a hybrid or hybrid‑ready workplace.
