Head of IFA Administration - Wealth Management

About the role

The Head of IFA Administration will lead a team of Client Relationship Managers to deliver a high‑quality wealth‑management service. Reporting to the Head of Advice, Delivery and Development, the role combines people leadership with oversight of processes, compliance and client interaction support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a high‑performing team of Client Relationship Managers.
• Oversee onboarding, training and continuous development of the team.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes, quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and client service.
• Support client meetings, build strong relationships and manage follow‑up actions.
• Handle new business applications, contract administration and client record maintenance.
• Produce management information and contribute to project work as required.

Required profile

• Experienced IFA Administrator or Financial Planning Assistant with supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Motivational and supportive leader with strong organisational abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and comfortable driving change.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using back‑office systems in a financial services environment.
