About the role
The Head of Impulse will own the commercial strategy for the UK’s impulse and on‑the‑go channels across a leading chilled‑food brand. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will drive growth in convenience, wholesale, foodservice, travel, leisure, hospitality and discounter environments.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the long‑term commercial strategy for impulse channels across the UK.
- Identify high‑potential routes to market, strengthen existing partnerships and secure new commercial opportunities.
- Lead, coach and develop a small high‑performing team responsible for key routes to market.
- Build robust annual sales plans, forecasts and commercial strategies aligned with ambitious growth targets.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing and revenue‑growth teams to optimise channel performance.
- Represent the business with key customers, distributors and industry stakeholders.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in impulse/OOH sales within branded FMCG, preferably food or beverages.
- Deep understanding of UK routes to market including convenience, wholesale and foodservice.
- Track record of delivering channel growth and executing commercial strategy.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience managing and developing high‑performing commercial teams.

What we offer
- Hybrid working – South East office base.
- Competitive salary £90,000‑£100,000 per year.
- Car allowance, bonus up to 15% of salary.
