Head of Infrastructure & Cloud Services

About the role

The Head of Infrastructure & Cloud Services will shape strategy, performance and future direction of JD Group's infrastructure across the UK and EU, ensuring platforms are secure, resilient and ready for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategy, operational management and transformation of Core Infrastructure, Cloud, Networks and Database Services as an integrated capability.
• Develop and deliver a multi‑year transformation roadmap balancing stability, risk reduction, modernisation and business outcomes.
• Own operational health, resilience and disaster recovery of the infrastructure and cloud estate.
• Build an integrated leadership culture, develop functional leaders and manage blended delivery models with internal teams and strategic partners.
• Steward budget, commercial performance and value delivery, working with FinOps to optimise cloud costs.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading operation and transformation of complex, business‑critical infrastructure spanning cloud, networks and databases.
• Track record of leading multidisciplinary technical teams at scale.
• Experience modernising large, distributed technology environments while maintaining service continuity.
• Strong background in infrastructure security, vulnerability management, disaster recovery and risk governance.
